Ditto Music was okay for me overall. I’ll be honest, I’m always a bit nervous with platforms like this because I don’t want to feel like I’m being fooled or missing some hidden catch, but nothing felt shady once I started using it.

The dashboard is fairly easy to figure out after clicking around for a while, and uploading my release didn’t take too long. That said, a few parts felt clunky, and I had to bounce back and forth to find certain things.

Pages were also a little slow here and there, which made the whole process feel less smooth than it could be. It gets the job done, but I think the platform could use some cleanup to feel more polished

I started using it around late spring, I think maybe May or June, and it’s been solid. The stats seem accurate, and I haven’t run into any weird surprises or confusing issues so far...

Royalties were tracked properly from what I could tell, which is the main thing I cared about. Support did take a little longer than I would’ve liked, but I’m probably a bit impatient with that kind of stuff. Overall, it did the job for me

I’ve been using Ditto for a few releases now, the analytics are probably my favorite part. I’m a bit of a numbers person anyway, so I’m biased, but I like that it’s not just a bunch of vague stats thrown at you. You can actually dig into stores, countries, and individual tracks to see what’s getting traction. It did take me a little while to figure out where everything was, but once I got used to it, it became really useful for planning posts and thinking through my next release. Overall, I’m happy with it.

The first payment took a bit longer than I expected, so I was thinking some kind of compensation or at least an update would be fair. After that though, the payouts have been steady and I haven’t really had any major issues

I started using Ditto mostly because they distribute to a wide range of stores, and to be fair, that part has been really good. Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, and the main platforms were all covered, so I didn’t have to worry much about missing the bigger places.

Overall, I’d say it’s good for the price. It’s not perfect, and I wouldn’t pretend everything was instant, but the store coverage is strong and it basically does what I needed it to do.
